“AmPro Tools New Zealand Super Saloon Championship”
Three groups of 13 cars will race three heats of 12 laps. The 6 highest points scorers after 3 heats from each group will qualify for finals night. In the event of a tie in points for the sixth spot at the end of qualifying, a 4 lap run-off will be raced with the winner progressing to the finals. The last two qualifying positions will be filled via two last chance repechage races over 10 laps. The winner of each repechage race will qualify through to finals night.
The finals for the AmPro Tools New Zealand Super Saloon Championship will be raced over three, 15 lap heats. The winner of the 2013 New Zealand Super Championship will be the driver with the highest accumulated points after all three heats are completed. In the event of a tie in points for any of the top three positions, a 4 lap run-off will be held to determine the overall finishing positions.
