New Wheels for Chris Hall

Defending Canterbury Ministock Champion Chris Hall 47c has been busy tinkering away in the garage, building a new chassis to help keep himself at the front of the field,. The new car will be ready in time for the new season with Chris adding a few modifications to suit his driving style, plus he has a new Dave McSherry engine on the way.

After a very successful past season in which Chris won the North Canterbury, Canterbury and Kaikoura Championships, he hopes this season will be just as rewarding.

Chris works as an Engineer by trade and having been racing ministocks for a while, building his own car was always an eventuality.

Chris’s success can be put down to the time he spends preparing his car for race day. Building the new chassis has been the same with time spent checking welds and measurements. The car should be among the leaders again this season. [article by Jody Scott]
