Canterbury Super Saloon & SuperStock Championships

In front of another large crowd, local drivers took all the top honors at the Canterbury Super Saloon and Super Stock Championships on Saturday night. The defending Canterbury Super Saloon Champion Dennis Bolt finished ahead of Greg Keegan and Martin Harcourt. In the Super Stocks local drivers made the visit by Nelson cars a memorable one denying any Nelson cars a podium finish. If this meeting is anything to go by then the SuperStock teams event on December 1st between the Nelson Tigers and the Glen Eagles will be exciting viewing. The eventual winner was Campbell McManaway ahead of Malcolm Ngatai with Jason Smith third.
