Results

It was the turn of the Modifieds to provide the action this weekend and although the second night was cut short due to rain the race atmosphere could not be dampened. 29c Glen Leech was the star performer along with visitors 19r Scott Lane & 2nz John Jackson. The wealth of driver ability among these guys was well worth the wait albeit this late in the season.

Visiting North Island Stockcar drivers also provided entertainment aplenty and it would be great to see an annual North vs South Challenge to develop for the future.

The men suffered double trouble in the Productions Saloons when then were beaten by not just one but two of the women racers. Jo Giles won ahead of Rhonda Katene-Hill relegating class stalwart Gerry Filius to the last place on the podium.
