Ministock Canterbury Championships & Demolition Derby
Saturday 27th January 2007

Tonights meeting was kindly brought to us by Midas Hornby.

The ministock championship resulted in more roll-over action than the demolition derby. A couple of big roll-overs for 24c Darren Kerr & 25c Maurice King halted any chance of a podium finish for the two of them. And just to rub salt into the wounds of the cantabrians the championship was taken out by west coaster 65gm Glen Redmond.

The weather threatened us with rain towards the end of the evening but never came to anything.

The demolition derby came down to a battle between two cars in a David & Golliath affair but this time the larger car won which was piloted by Edgar Wahig but not before Renee Boardman fought hard to end up second overall.
